Gaurav Sharma
CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
As Chief Information Officer, Gaurav Sharma has oversight for NSW Ports’ IT and Business Intelligence functions.
Prior to joining NSW Ports, Gaurav served in a range of senior IT roles in the port and logistics industry.
Most recently he served as the Group Chief Information & Technology Officer at MMC Ports, Malaysia, where he drove the digital transformation program and cloud-based integrations for five major seaports, which collectively manage approximately 60% of Malaysia’s sea exports and imports.
Gaurav also has extensive experience in port systems integration, data analytics, blockchain technology and disaster recovery frameworks.
He holds a Postgraduate in General Management & Leadership from INSEAD Business School, France / Singapore and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Annamalai University, India.
