James Bartlett
ALTERNATE DIRECTOR
Mr Bartlett has served as an Alternate Director of NSW Ports since December 2025.
He is a Senior Investment Director at AustralianSuper, responsible for investment management across the Fund’s real assets portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Mr Bartlett held senior leadership roles at HSBC Asset Management as Head of Investment Strategy, Real Assets, Global and at DWS as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Real Estate, Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he held investment roles at Blackstone, Colonial First State Global Asset Management and LaSalle Investment Management.
Mr Bartlett holds Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Institute of Australasia. He has also completed the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Practising Accountant, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Justice of the Peace (Queensland) and a Licensed Real Estate Agent (NSW). He serves on the Board of Sydney Airport.
